Cinelux - Who we are
Cinelux is managed by Anthos Simon, who has worked in the cinema and film industry for over 30 years. He has attained multiple film credits (refer to IMDb link) and he knows how to harmoniously combine design, lighting, sound isolation, acoustics, picture quality and audio technology.

He has also worked for companies including Deluxe Australia, Efilm and Stage One Sound for many years; where he was responsible for managing multiple studio/cinema expansions. This earned him an inclusion into the film industry’s Mumbrella Power Top 50 executives. He is number 38 in the list.

Anthos has also worked for Event Cinemas, Australia and New Zealand’s largest cinema exhibitor. Together with his team, he was responsible for the DCI AV integration into hundreds of new cinema rooms for Event, Village, Reading and independent cinemas. He was a trailblazer, being the first to introduce Dolby Atmos in commercial V-Max cinemas. Another first was to incorporate 4K RGB laser projection into Event’s Gold Class cinemas.
He has been a member of SMPTE, provided technical expertise to the Digital Cinema Initiatives Group (DCI), and in 2019 was accepted into the Cinema Pioneers Society.
